I have worked together several teledramas with Nalan Mendis , director of teledrama. The first teledrama was Dudaruwo. All of us, actor, actress, director, producer, Sandaya Mendis, Cameraman, Makeup artists, worked as one family. We enjoyed very much before they started the work. However, we were not allowed to involve any other works when we did our acting part. We had to perform our part in accordance to his instructions. He conversed about the script with us before starting teledrama. He discussed their characters with each other too and how to perform it in a successful way. Actually, it is very easy to work with him. We knew what his purposes and gave our fullest cooperation to become its reality. So I feel sorry that I have not had opportunity to work Nalan Mendis for a long period.
